Friday, May 8th: Flying from Las Vegas to Fort Lauderdale, FL
Saturday, May 9th: Day 1 - At Sea
It's time to board our ship! We, along with Alfred and his friend, Vinh, head over to Miami to board the largest fleet out there - Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas for our seven day cruise. We get there early and it's not too long before we start exploring!
Right off the bat we check out The Flowrider! Armed with swimsuits, we jump right in for a go at boogie boarding! We even squeeze in spa treatments just as the ship leaves its port! The trip is already starting off great!
Day 2 - At Sea
Another day of exploring our huge ship - including a dodgeball tournament for the guys. It's the first formal night of the cruise and we get fancied up for dinner.
Day 3 - At Sea
Starting off with the art auction, who would have thought we'd enjoy it so much? We hit the indoor ice skating rink before checking out the rock climbing wall. A quick round of miniature golf on the top deck rounds out our day before dinner! Yes, this ship has it all!
Day 4 - St. Maarten
Scuba diving day! With the water conditions being as bad as they were, Reggie and Teri were soon throwing up on the little boat that took them out to the open ocean. It wasn't a good day for diving for them.
That's okay because they got a chance to check out Philipsburg and have a meal featuring local cuisine.
Day 5 - Puerto Rico
A short day in port and we are out early! It's hot and muggy in Old San Juan, and we get caught up in the rain! Nothing a fresh mojito and pina colada can't take care of!
Second formal night and the promise of all-you-can-eat lobster tails. Everything was great until our table got caught off - 25 lobster tails was our limit!
Day 6 - Haiti
Royal Caribbean's private beach of Labadee is where we did a zip line over the ocean! A fabulous adrenaline rush and a lazy day at the beach!
Day 7 - At Sea
Our last day on the ship, so we do everything we can. One last run on The Flowrider for surfing!
